Role Purpose To oversee finance and accounting operations across the Group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, statutory compliance, robust internal controls, and timely financial decision support to the Chief Financial Advisor (CFA) and Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditure, analyse financial variances, and manage cash flow.
- Oversee accounting operations, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and consolidation and finalisation of books.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, including Income & Expenditure Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Manage TDS calculation, payments, returns, certificates, income tax assessment support, and applicable PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
- Review fee collections, vendor bills, payment disbursements, and corporate payroll.
- Monitor fund positions, FDR renewals,



and insurance coverage for vehicles and other assets.
- Oversee Society accounting and maintain accurate financial records, data backups, and documentation.
- Lead and guide school accountants and the finance team, ensuring standardised processes and effective accounting SOPs.
- Provide operational and secretarial support as required by Management.
- Manage Trust Accounting

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce, Finance and Accounting; CA, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or MBA Finance preferred.
- Substantial experience in finance and accounts, preferably in a multi-unit organisation.
- Education-sector experience, particularly school or Society accounting, will be an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of taxation, TDS, PF, ESI, audits, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
