Manager – CSR Partnerships (AI & Literacy Projects) | Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Freadom Edu is hiring a CSR Manager in Bhubaneswar to lead CSR partnerships, fundraising and business development for our AI-powered literacy programs across Odisha. You will own the full partnership cycle with corporates, CSR foundations, trusts and government stakeholders, from lead generation to MoU signing.

Freadom Edu is a mission-driven education organisation working on foundational literacy, language learning and educational equity. Our Freadom platform is an AI-powered, research-backed reading solution. It offers personalised reading pathways, multilingual content, read-aloud and read-along experiences, and teacher-supported remediation for children in government and low-income schools.

Through our collaboration with Finnish Global Education Solutions (FGES), we bring Finnish pedagogy into Indian classrooms: joyful learning, child-centric teaching, teacher empowerment and competency-based education.

What You’ll Do

CSR Partnership Development

- Build relationships with CSR heads, corporate foundations, trusts and philanthropic organisations across Odisha
- Identify funding opportunities aligned with our education and skilling initiatives
- Develop and maintain a solid pipeline of CSR partners
- Represent Freadom Edu at CSR forums, conferences and industry events

Business Development & Fundraising
- Source and qualify leads through research, networking, referrals and outreach
- Lead meetings with corporate decision-makers and CSR leaders
- Work with our proposal team on concept notes, proposals and presentations
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements and MoUs

Government & Ecosystem Engagement




- Build relationships with district administrations and education departments
- Identify public-private partnership (PPP) opportunities
- Strengthen Freadom Edu’s presence in Odisha’s education and CSR ecosystem

Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track CSR budgets, annual reports, RFPs and grant opportunities of companies in Odisha
- Maintain a database of corporates, foundations and key stakeholders
- Keep CRM records updated and share regular pipeline and revenue reports

What We’re Looking For

- 5–8 years in CSR partnerships, business development, fundraising, institutional partnerships or corporate engagement
- Experience with NGOs, social enterprises, CSR foundations or education organisations (highly preferred)
- A strong network in Odisha’s corporate and CSR ecosystem (an advantage)
- Knowledge of CSR regulations and funding mechanisms in India
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and proposal-writing skills
- Bachelor’s in Business, Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy or a related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
- An entrepreneurial, target-driven mindset and willingness to travel extensively across Odisha

Qualified CSR leads in the pipeline, value of proposals submitted, partnerships signed, revenue generated and lead-to-partnership conversion rate.
