Role Description The Manager Career Development Cell is a full-time, on-site role based at ITM University Raipur. This position oversees the planning and execution of career development initiatives, including placement activities, internships, and industry engagement programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with employers for campus recruitment, organizing career guidance workshops, soft skills and employability training, and maintaining solid relationships with industry partners.

The role involves tracking student career progress, managing placement-related data and reports, and collaborating with faculty and administration to align career services with academic programs.



The manager also identifies emerging career trends, designs student-focused development interventions, and ensures a professional and inclusive environment for all learners.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in stakeholder and relationship management, including collaboration with industry partners, recruiters, faculty, and students.

Candidates should possess planning and organizational skills for managing placement drives, career fairs, workshops, and training schedules.

Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct presentations, counseling sessions, and group interactions effectively.

Candidates should possess data management and analytical skills for tracking placement statistics, preparing reports, and deriving insights on student outcomes.

Candidates should possess knowledge of current job market trends, emerging career opportunities, and sector-specific hiring practices relevant to higher education.

Relevant experience in career services, training and placement, corporate relations, or talent acquisition in an academic or corporate environment is highly beneficial.

A postgraduate degree in Management, Human Resources, Education, or a related field is preferred; a strong record of professional ethics and student-centered service is essential.
