Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Maintenance Projects & Engineering to lead engineering projects, equipment installation and commissioning, plant infrastructure development, and maintenance improvements at our manufacturing facility. The role will focus on project execution, plant expansion, equipment reliability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Drive plant expansion, capacity enhancement, machinery upgrades, and infrastructure development.
- Manage installation and commissioning of production equipment, processing machinery, packaging lines, and plant utilities.
- Prepare project schedules, technical specifications, cost estimates, and progress reports to ensure timely project completion within budget.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams for project execution and technical support.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability improvements.
- Drive RCA, TPM, and OEE initiatives to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO, and applicable statutory requirements.




- Manage project expenditure, engineering procurement, contractor safety, and technical documentation.
- Lead the engineering and maintenance team while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in plant engineering, maintenance projects, equipment installation, or commissioning.
- Experience in FMCG, food processing, beverages, dairy, personal care, or consumer goods manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plant utilities, industrial equipment, and automation.
- Proven experience in project management, budgeting, vendor coordination, and cost control.
- Knowledge of maintenance reliability, safety standards, and food manufacturing compliance.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in recent plant setup, plant expansion, or brownfield projects.
- Exposure to processing and packaging equipment, including mixing, filling, labeling, and packing lines.
- Experience in engineering projects within continuous or 24x7 manufacturing environments.
