Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development, maintenance, and support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS, along with experience in developing, enhancing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Develop, modify, and execute batch jobs and online programs based on business requirements.
- Work with CICS for online transaction processing and application support.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for DB2 databases.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production issue resolution.
- Analyze existing code, identify defects,



and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and other developers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and release activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Support application enhancements, maintenance, and production deployments.

Mandatory Skills
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Development.
- Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Experience with CICS and online transaction processing.
- Good knowledge of SQL queries, database operations, and performance optimization.
- Experience in batch processing, debugging, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
