Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial Production / Electrical Engineering
Experience: 10+ years
Industry Experience: Steel Plant / Coke Oven Plant
Job Purpose:
Lead site team in plant operations and maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance, with a solid focus on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company as overall head and drive operational excellence, client relations and commercial efficiencies on site.
- Build, monitor and lead a reliable team of maintenance, safety, and managerial professionals to ensure key deliverables are met across operations.
- Create, implement and monitor the required processes to deliver improvement in operational standards and ensure meeting of all KPIs.
- Ensure maximum plant availability,
equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, environmental norms as well as company SMPs and SOPs.
- Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams for smooth plant operations.
- Lead and develop operations and maintenance teams and drive continuous improvement.
Mandatory Requirements:
- B.Tech qualification is mandatory – Diploma candidates should not apply.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Steel Plant / Coke Oven / Process Plant.
- Coke Oven operations and maintenance experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of plant maintenance, equipment reliability, commissioning, and safety practices.
