Position: Lighting Designer & BOQ

Experience:1–3 Years

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on project drawings, lighting layouts, and project requirements.

Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings, particularly for lighting, electrical, and architectural applications.(Mandatory)

Read and interpret architectural, lighting design, electrical, and technical drawings.

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, lighting schedules, and material calculations.

Coordinate with the Project, Design, Lighting, Procurement, and Site teams for project requirements.

Prepare shop drawings, lighting layouts, installation drawings, and detailed project drawings.

Ensure BOQs and drawings are accurate and updated according to project revisions.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding **lighting products, specifications, quantities, and technical requirements.

Maintain proper documentation of drawings, BOQs, lighting schedules, and project-related data.

Support the team in project estimation, costing, and material planning.

Review drawings and BOQs to identify quantity discrepancies, design changes, and material requirements.





Assist in preparing lighting-related technical documentation and product details as required.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.

Prior experience or good working knowledge of the Lighting Industry is mandatory/preferred.

Candidates with experience in lighting design, lighting projects, electrical/lighting products, architectural lighting, or lighting execution will be preferred.

Good understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and material take-offs.

Ability to read and understand lighting, electrical, architectural, and technical drawings.

Basic understanding of lighting fixtures, lighting layouts, specifications, and installation requirements.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Candidates from lighting, electrical, architecture, interior, construction, or related industries will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates who have worked on lighting projects and have hands-on experience in AutoCAD + BOQ + lighting layouts/quantities will be given preference.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
