Role Description The Legal Intern will assist advocates and team members in legal research, case law analysis, and preparation of legal opinions and briefs. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, compiling case files, and supporting the team in litigation and advisory matters across areas such as tax,



corporate law, constitutional law, and regulatory compliance. The intern will observe court proceedings, assist in client meetings under supervision, and help in maintaining organized documentation and matter tracking.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, requiring consistent presence at the Chambers and, when necessary, at courts and tribunals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with ongoing or completed legal education (LLB or equivalent).
- Ability to handle Legal Consulting tasks, including basic advisory support under supervision.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing pleadings, contracts, and opinions.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with team members and clients.
- Capability to identify, understand, and analyze Legal Issues across multiple practice areas.
- Excellent research skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex information.
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with using legal databases, productivity tools, and basic office software.
