Pharmnova Medical Research develops technology-driven solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. We are building AI-driven software tools to streamline complex workflows, improve operational efficiency and support intelligent data processing.

We are seeking an experienced Senior MERN Stack & Python Developer with strong hands-on programming skills and proven end-to-end software product development experience. The successful candidate will contribute to application development, software architecture, technical documentation, testing, AI integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities1. Software Product Development

- Develop, enhance and maintain AI-driven applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js and Python.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable and scalable production-quality code.
- Design and integrate REST APIs, backend services, databases and application components.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, resolve bugs and optimize application performance.
- Take ownership of features from requirements analysis through development, testing and deployment.
- Ensure that deliverables meet functional requirements, performance expectations and quality standards.

2. Software Architecture & Technical Documentation

- Prepare and maintain software architecture and technical design documentation.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), technical design documents, API specifications and database design documents, as applicable.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, component diagrams, data-flow diagrams and integration documentation.
- Ensure documentation accurately reflects the implemented application and is maintained throughout product development.

3. Software Testing & Quality Assurance

- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test reports.
- Perform unit, integration, API, functional and regression testing.
- Investigate defects, conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective solutions.
- Support system testing, release readiness and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with QA and product teams to ensure application stability, reliability and quality.

4. AI & Python Integration

- Develop and integrate Python-based services with MERN applications.
- Integrate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) APIs into application workflows.
- Implement and validate prompts, API integrations,



data-processing pipelines and AI outputs.
- Support improvements in AI response time, output consistency and processing efficiency.
- Contribute to reliable processing of large datasets and AI-driven information extraction workflows.

5. Cloud Deployment & Application Maintenance

- Support application configuration, deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Work with development, testing and production environments.
- Collaborate on release management, application security and deployment readiness.
- Follow version control, code review and secure software development practices.

6. Collaboration & Accountability

- Work closely with product owners, technical architects, QA teams and other developers.
- Participate in technical reviews, sprint planning and release discussions.
- Identify technical risks and recommend practical solutions supported by evidence and testing.
- Demonstrate individual technical competence, independent problem-solving and ownership of deliverables.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong practical experience with the complete MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience developing backend services or integrating Python applications.
- Mandatory end-to-end software product development experience, preferably involving features delivered through production deployment.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, databases and application components.
- Practical experience preparing software architecture documents, technical design specifications and development documentation.
- Experience preparing test plans, test cases and test reports, and performing software testing.
- Strong debugging, analytical thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to independently understand, explain, validate and maintain code developed personally or with AI-assisted development tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Advantages The following skills will be considered an advantage:

- Experience developing AI-driven applications and integrating LLMs.
- Familiarity with Python AI/ML frameworks, LLM APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG),



embeddings or vector databases.
- Practical cloud deployment experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including application hosting, configuration, database deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience deploying MERN applications and Python-based services in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker and automated deployment practices.
- Experience with secure software development, access control and application performance monitoring.
- Experience in healthcare IT, pharmaceutical technology, life sciences or regulated software development.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle documentation, requirements traceability, risk management and software validation.
- Relevant certifications in AI, machine learning, cloud computing or software architecture.

Note: AI experience, AI certifications and AWS/Azure deployment experience are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong MERN, Python, documentation and product development experience are essential.
