Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operational Compliance Officer to support and strengthen the organization's compliance, governance, and operational risk management framework. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, audit management, operational controls, and governance processes. Experience in the NPS (National Pension System) ecosystem and PFRDA regulations will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, SOPs, and compliance standards.
- Interpret, implement, and monitor regulatory guidelines, circulars, and notifications.
- Maintain compliance trackers, statutory records, and governance documentation.
- Support regulatory inspections, compliance reviews, and governance committees.

NPS & PFRDA Compliance
- Monitor compliance with PFRDA regulations, NPS operational guidelines, and related regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to pension fund operational and compliance obligations.
- Review compliance controls related to NPS account administration, subscriber servicing, grievance management, and operational processes.
- Support periodic regulatory reporting and compliance certifications.

Operational Risk Management
- Identify operational risk areas, process gaps, and control deficiencies.
- Conduct periodic risk and compliance assessments.




- Recommend and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for compliance deviations and operational incidents.

Audit & Control Management
- Coordinate Internal Audits, Compliance Audits, Risk Reviews, and External Audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance findings.
- Maintain audit evidence and compliance documentation.
- Track audit action items and report status to management.

Monitoring & MIS Reporting
- Prepare compliance dashboards, governance reports, and management MIS.
- Monitor SLA/KPI adherence and regulatory obligations.
- Escalate compliance breaches, control failures, and risk observations.
- Present periodic compliance updates to senior management.

Training & Awareness
- Conduct compliance and regulatory awareness sessions.
- Promote a solid compliance culture across business and operations teams.
- Support policy implementation and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, AML/KYC, Governance, or Regulatory Compliance will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Operational Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Governance, Audit, or Internal Controls.




- Experience in Financial Services, Pension Operations, Banking, Asset Management, Mutual Funds, Capital Markets, or Shared Services environment.
- Hands-on experience managing regulatory compliance, audits, risk assessments, and governance activities.
- Experience in NPS operations, PFRDA compliance framework, pension servicing, or retirement services domain will be highly preferred.
