About Future KraftFuture Kraft is a hands-on robotics learning program designed to develop real-world engineering, problem-solving, and robotics skills among students aged 9–16 and engineering learners.

Through structured learning tracks, practical workshops, robotics challenges, and demo days, we help learners move beyond textbooks to understand how things work—and build things that actually work.

Future Kraft is a portfolio initiative of The Robot Foundry, a robotics-focused venture studio working on real-world service robotics, automation, and talent development.

About the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Junior Robotics Instructor to join our growing team in Mumbai.

This is a full-time teaching and technical facilitation role for someone who loves building, experimenting, troubleshooting, and explaining engineering concepts in straightforward, engaging ways.

You will introduce learners to the different worlds of robotics:

- Mechanical World: Mechanisms, gears, linkages, structures, motion, and basic machine design.
- Electrical & Electronics World: Circuits, electricity, sensors, motors, components, and basic electronics.
- Automation World: Control systems, sensors and actuators, automation logic, and practical robotic applications.
- Coding World (Added Advantage): Basic programming, Arduino, block-based coding, and introductory Python/C/C++.

You don't need to be an expert in every domain from day one. What matters most is a strong foundation in practical engineering, a willingness to learn, and the ability to inspire students through hands-on experimentation. You will work with the Future Kraft team to deliver engaging classes, manage practical labs, mentor student projects, and continuously improve our learning experience.

Key Responsibilities1. Conduct Robotics Classes & Workshops

- Deliver engaging classroom sessions and practical workshops using Future Kraft's structured curriculum.
- Teach foundational concepts in mechanics, electricity, electronics, and automation.
- Introduce students to robotics components, tools, kits, and real-world applications.
- Adapt explanations and teaching styles to different age groups and learning levels.

2. Facilitate Hands-On Learning

- Guide students through assembling mechanisms, building circuits, integrating sensors, and developing simple robotic systems.
- Conduct practical activities following a structured approach: understand → build → test → troubleshoot → demonstrate.
- Encourage experimentation, curiosity, teamwork, and independent problem-solving.
- Help learners understand why their designs work—or don't work.

3. Mentor Student Projects

- Support students in completing robotics challenges, mini-projects, and capstone projects.
- Assist with mechanical assembly, wiring, electronics integration, and basic programming where applicable.
- Help students troubleshoot technical issues and improve the reliability of their projects.
- Prepare students for demonstrations, presentations, and demo days.

4. Manage Robotics Labs & Equipment

- Prepare robotics kits, components, tools, and teaching materials before sessions.
- Maintain lab equipment, organize components, and ensure kits are functional.
- Follow appropriate safety procedures during mechanical and electrical activities.
- Coordinate with the team on inventory, replacements, and kit readiness.

5. Support Curriculum Development

- Provide feedback on lesson plans, worksheets, and practical activities.
- Test new experiments, robotics kits, and learning modules before classroom implementation.
- Help create teaching demonstrations, sample builds, and instructional materials.
- Contribute ideas to make robotics education more engaging and practical.

6. Track Learner Progress

- Monitor participation, practical skills, and project completion.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and the Future Kraft team.
- Support batch coordination, parent updates, and student demonstrations when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of basic mechanical principles, electrical circuits, electronics, and automation concepts.
- Hands-on experience with engineering projects, robotics kits, electronics experiments, or DIY/maker activities.
- Comfortable working with basic tools, components, sensors, motors, and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, relatable language.
- Good communication skills, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and develop teaching skills.
- Comfortable conducting both classroom-based sessions and practical workshops.

Fresh graduates and diploma holders with strong practical skills are encouraged to apply. Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

- Experience with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or similar development platforms.
- Basic programming knowledge in Scratch, Python, C, or C++.

- Experience with CAD tools such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or Onshape.
- Familiarity with sensors, actuators, motor drivers, and simple automation systems.
- Previous experience conducting STEM/robotics workshops, mentoring school students, or participating in robotics competitions.
- Personal robotics projects, maker activities, college technical club experience, or participation in hackathons.

Who We're Looking ForBeyond technical qualifications, we're looking for someone who:
- Loves building things: Enjoys working with their hands, experimenting with components, and figuring out how things work.
- Is curious and resourceful: Doesn't give up when something fails and enjoys troubleshooting.
- Can connect with students: Makes engineering exciting, approachable, and fun.
- Takes ownership: Is responsible for class preparation, equipment readiness, and learner outcomes.
- Wants to grow: Is excited to develop expertise across different robotics domains and grow with an emerging robotics education initiative.

Work Schedule & Location
- This is a full-time, Mumbai-based role in our Lower Parel office.
- Classes may include weekday theory sessions, hands-on practical labs, and weekend workshops.
- Weekend availability is required, with weekly offs scheduled according to the teaching calendar.
- The role may require travel to Future Kraft learning centres and partner locations across Mumbai, including Powai, Andheri, Ghatkopar, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.
- Responsibilities may also include supporting special workshops, school programs, and corporate robotics bootcamps.

What We Offer
- An opportunity to work closely with a growing robotics-focused venture.
- Exposure to multidisciplinary robotics, including mechanical systems, electronics, automation, and programming.
- Access to practical robotics projects, kits, tools, and learning environments.
- Hands-on experience in teaching, curriculum development, and robotics lab operations.
- Opportunities for technical upskilling and professional development.
- A clear growth path toward Senior Robotics Instructor, Lead Instructor, or Centre-Level Technical & Academic Leadership as Future Kraft expands.

CompensationCompetitive fixed monthly salary, based on qualifications, practical skills, and experience. Performance-based incentives and growth opportunities may be offered based on teaching quality, student outcomes, and overall contribution.
