Role OverviewAs a Video Editor at The Visual House, you’ll be responsible for editing campaign videos, commercials, product promos, and branded content for multiple clients.

You’ll also work extensively on non-fiction formats such as corporate films, documentaries, brand videos, human-interest stories, stock-based edits, explainer videos, and reels packaging for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Work from creative briefs and scripts to produce sharp, brand-aligned video edits.
- Edit engaging short-form content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media videos.
- Create reels with effective pacing, transitions, captions, subtitles, sound effects, music, and visual hooks to maximize audience engagement.
- Incorporate motion graphics, animation, and visual effects as needed.
- Collaborate with directors, producers,



and creative teams during post-production.
- Manage post-production workflows, including color correction, sound design, and versioning.
- Adapt video content to different social media platforms, aspect ratios, durations, and specifications.
- Stay current with advertising trends, reel formats, editing techniques, and platform-specific content styles.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.

Requirements· Previous experience as a video editor, ideally in an ad agency or production studio · Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro; proficiency in After Effects

· Robust storytelling, pacing, and visual sense

· Knowledge of social media formats and video specs

· Detail-oriented with excellent file organization and version control

· Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

· Strong reel showcasing ad or branded content is a must

Nice-to-Haves· Experience with 2D/3D animation, color grading (DaVinci Resolve), or sound design

· Familiarity with editing for different platforms

· On-set experience or familiarity with camera workflows
