Role Description The Regional Leader at SUD Life will oversee sales and distribution activities within the Kolhapur region, ensuring achievement of business targets through branch and partner networks. This full-time, on-site role involves planning and executing regional sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and driving the adoption of life insurance products across urban and rural markets.

The Regional

Leader will collaborate closely with bank partners, local teams, and senior management to support customer acquisition, retention, and service quality.



Daily responsibilities include coaching and developing field teams, conducting market assessments, managing compliance and risk guidelines, and preparing regular reports on regional performance. The role also requires building strong stakeholder relationships and representing SUD Life’s values and customer-centric approach in the region.

Qualifications

- Experience in life insurance, banking, or financial services, with a robust understanding of sales, distribution, and customer relationship management.
- Proven ability to lead regional teams, including skills in people management, performance coaching, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical and planning capabilities, including comfort with targets, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and geographic segments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in an on-site role, managing multiple branches or locations within a region.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in insurance or finance is an advantage.
- Familiarity with rural and semi-urban markets and local customer needs in and around Kolhapur is highly beneficial.
