About Creator Engine

Creator Engine is a post-production company based in Mumbai. We edit, grade and finish long-form YouTube content, vertical micro-dramas and branded work for creators and studios in the US, Canada and India. Our teams work across multiple locations on Mac-based workflows, and client content moves through shared storage and cloud transfer platforms every day.

About the Role

We're growing, and the next stage needs a dedicated owner for infrastructure and security. This is a new role, built to take CEPL to 100 seats and beyond.

You'll own the full picture: what we run, how it's protected, who can access what, and how it holds up as we add people, locations and clients. You'll set the standard, build the roadmap and see it through.

This is not a support role. Day-to-day support is handled by managed IT partners, and you'll decide who those partners are, what they're accountable for and whether they're meeting the bar. You report directly to leadership.

What You'll Own

- Security. Access control, MFA, device encryption, joiner and leaver processes, monitoring and incident response. Keeping our posture in step with what international studio clients expect.
- Endpoints. Device management and security across a growing Mac fleet, built to scale to 100 seats and beyond.
- Storage and backup. Shared storage across locations, backup design and regular restore testing.
- Network. Firewall policy, segmentation, secure remote access, and bandwidth planning for large media transfers.
- Policy and compliance. IT and security policies, software licence compliance,



and supporting client security reviews and audits.
- Partners and spend. Selecting and managing IT partners against clear SLAs, procurement, and owning the IT budget.
- Reporting. A regular risk register and roadmap for leadership: what's been done, what's next, what it costs.

This Role Is Not for You If

- You want to be the person fixing laptops and resetting passwords. Our partners handle that.
- Your experience is entirely Windows and Active Directory, and you'd rather not learn Macs and media workflows.
- You need a large team and a big budget before you can make progress.
- You see security as a document to file, not a habit a whole company has to actually follow.
- You wait to be told what to work on next.

- You like building a function, not just maintaining one.
- You can explain a risk to a founder in rupees and to an editor in plain words, and get both to act.
- You hold partners to a standard without doing their work for them.
- You prioritise ruthlessly: what would hurt most gets attention first, even if it isn't the most engaging.
- You keep up with how tools, threats and AI are changing, and bring that thinking in before you're asked.

What You Bring

- 6-10 years in IT infrastructure,



with at least 2-3 of those owning it rather than supporting it.
- Hands-on experience with macOS fleet management (Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle or similar).
- NAS storage (Synology, QNAP or similar), RAID, backup design and 10GbE networking.
- Firewalls, VLANs and VPNs across multiple sites.
- Google Workspace administration, SSO and MFA rollout.
- You've written and enforced security policy, and you're familiar with frameworks like ISO 27001, TPN or MPA content security best practices.
- Experience managing IT partners against clear SLAs.
- Strong plus: experience in post-production, VFX or media; having taken a company through a client security audit; working knowledge of India's DPDP Act.

Credentials matter less than proof that you've built infrastructure that scaled with a growing company, and can show us what changed because you were there.
