PanIndia Marine Services is looking for a hands-on IT professional with strong backend fundamentals and a genuine passion for technology, development, AI automation and continuous IT upskilling. We are looking for a technology geek at heart, someone who enjoys understanding how systems work, experimenting with new tools, finding smarter ways to do things, and continuously improving existing applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with our developers on our Yard Management System (YMS), Depot Applications, Transport systems and other internal software.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, analyse backend/database issues and support application improvements.
- Translate operational requirements into clear development, automation, and integration requirements.
- Assist in testing, debugging, UAT and implementation of new software features.
- Build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards for operational and management reporting.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve efficiency across departments.
- Explore and implement practical use of AI, LLMs and automation within our existing systems.
- Work with APIs, system integrations, webhooks and third-party applications.
- Support AI-driven initiatives such as document reading, OCR, data analysis, intelligent reporting, alerts and internal AI assistants.
- Train users and help drive adoption of new digital systems across depot operations.

- Dry & Reefer Depot Mobile Application
- TMK – Transport Management Kiosk

And third-party tools like:
- Tally, Zoho Inventory, G Suite, and Biometrix for attendance, etc

Robust foundation required in:

- SQL / MS SQL Server
- Databases and backend application logic
- APIs / JSON / system integrations
- Excel
- Power BI

AI & Modern Technology Exposure Preferred:

- ChatGPT

- Lovable
- Zapier / Power Automate
- Notion AI
- MailMaestro
- Gamma
- GitHub Copilot or similar tools
- LLM/API integrations and AI-assisted development

Experience with every tool isn't required. We are more interested in someone who understands technology fundamentals and can learn and implement new tools quickly.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with old-school technical fundamentals and a modern AI mindset, technically rooted in SQL, databases and system logic, but equally excited about AI, automation and emerging technologies. The candidate should be naturally curious, enjoy solving problems, question inefficient processes and constantly think:

“Can this process be made faster, smarter or automated?”

Someone who enjoys development, experiments with technology beyond assigned work, follows new AI tools, and genuinely wants to help build and scale a modern technology ecosystem would be an excellent fit.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
