About the Role

Northview College is seeking an experienced International Education Counsellor to support student recruitment and admissions. You will work remotely from India. Your main tasks will be counselling prospective students, handling admissions through ApplyBoard and institution portals, coordinating application submissions, and supporting students through the whole admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Lead Conversion

- Counsel prospective students about study opportunities in Canada.
- Assess student profiles and recommend suitable colleges, universities and programs.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships and career pathways.
- Hold online counselling sessions by phone, Zoom, Google Meet and WhatsApp.

Admissions & Application Processing

- Prepare and submit applications through ApplyBoard, college and university admission portals, and partner institution portals.
- Review academic documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Track application progress and keep students updated.
- Coordinate offer letters and enrollment.

Documentation & Compliance

- Guide students on the documents they need for admission.
- Verify transcripts, credentials, English test results and financial documents.
- Keep accurate student records and CRM data.
- Make sure every application meets the institution’s requirements.

Relationship Management





- Work with Canadian colleges and universities on admissions.
- Build robust relationships with institution representatives.
- Stay current on admission policies, program updates and scholarships.

Marketing & Recruitment Support

- Follow up on student inquiries from our marketing campaigns.
- Take part in webinars, education fairs and virtual recruitment events.
- Support lead generation and student conversion.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Education Counsellor, Admission Officer or Student Recruitment Specialist.
- Hands-on experience with ApplyBoard.
- Experience submitting applications through Canadian college and university portals.
- Knowledge of Canadian education pathways and admission requirements.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong counselling and sales skills.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Canadian colleges and universities.
- Familiarity with study permit processes and student documentation.
- An existing network of prospective international students.

- Fixed monthly salary
