Venus HR Consultancy is looking for a qualified and experienced Intensivist to join a reputed hospital in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing critically ill patients and providing advanced care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
? Key Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients in the ICU and provide comprehensive critical care.
- Monitor patients requiring advanced life support and organ support.
- Handle medical emergencies, including respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Perform and supervise critical care procedures, including intubation, central line insertion, and ventilator management, as clinically indicated.
- Coordinate with specialists, surgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment according to clinical needs.
- Ensure compliance with ICU protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records.
- Participate in ICU rounds, emergency response, and clinical audits.
? Educational Qualification
- MD / DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Respiratory Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, with relevant critical care experience; or
- DM / DrNB / equivalent recognized super-specialty qualification in Critical Care Medicine.
? Experience & Skills
- Relevant experience in critical care and ICU management.
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency management skills.
- Experience in ventilator management and advanced life support.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Experience in a multispecialty or super-specialty hospital preferred.
