About the Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational processes. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Linux, scripting, and CI/CD automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Tasks, and Workflows.
- Automate server provisioning, configuration, patching, deployment, and routine operational activities.
- Design reusable and scalable Ansible Roles and Collections.
- Manage static and dynamic inventories across infrastructure environments.
- Implement secure credential and secret management using Ansible Vault.
- Develop automation using YAML and Jinja2 templates.
- Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.




- Work closely with Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and infrastructure/configuration issues.
- Maintain automation standards, documentation, version control, and best practices.
- Support automation across Linux/Unix environments and cloud platforms.
- Monitor and optimize existing automation workflows.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust hands-on experience with Ansible Automation.
- Excellent knowledge of Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Modules, Variables, Handlers, Loops, and Conditionals.
- Strong YAML and Jinja2 knowledge.
- Experience with Ansible Tower/AWX.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with Shell/Bash or Python scripting.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Ansible Vault and security best practices.

Good to Have

- Experience with AWS/Azure automation.
- Knowledge of Terraform.
- Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps.
- Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and automation integrations.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools.
