Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee all core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, working closely with leadership and site teams to support staffing needs for ongoing civil construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, maintaining accurate HR records, managing payroll and benefits coordination in partnership with finance, and handling disciplinary procedures and grievance resolution.

The role also involves organizing training and development initiatives, promoting a secure and inclusive work environment, and supporting change management across the organization.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning, particularly for construction and engineering roles.
- Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management, with the ability to handle sensitive issues fairly and confidentially.
- Knowledge of HR operations, including HR documentation, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HRIS or related HR software.
- Solid understanding of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and health and safety standards relevant to the construction industry.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with site teams, management, and external partners.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or senior HR professional, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or a similar project-based environment.
