Role Description The Housekeeping Manager role at Khanvel Resort is a full-time, on-site position based in Silvassa. The individual in this role oversees daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and linen management to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include planning staff schedules, supervising and training housekeeping team members, conducting regular inspections, and addressing guest requests or concerns promptly.

The Housekeeping

Manager coordinates closely with Front Office, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth overall resort operations, especially during conferences, events, and weddings. The role also involves managing inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, maintaining safety and hygiene protocols,



and implementing quality improvements aligned with the resort’s service standards.

Qualifications

- Experience in hospitality housekeeping management, preferably in hotels or resorts, with a solid understanding of room and public area standards.
- Strong team leadership and people management abilities, including training, scheduling, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Good organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple tasks, peak occupancy periods, events, and special projects.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, coordinating with internal departments, and clearly guiding housekeeping staff.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene and safety standards, use of housekeeping equipment, and basic inventory control.
- Ability to work on-site in Silvassa, with flexibility to adapt to operational needs, weekend or holiday work, and event-driven schedules.
- Prior experience in managing housekeeping for corporate events, leisure travelers, or destination weddings is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in housekeeping supervision or management will be considered.
