About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible candidates for the position of Hotel Manager Intern under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme. The selected candidates will be assigned to a specific hotel property in Kolkata and will gain hands-on experience in hotel operations, guest handling, and property management.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and ensure smooth functioning of the assigned property.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and other operational teams.
- Ensure a positive guest experience by addressing customer queries and complaints.
- Monitor room readiness, cleanliness, and property maintenance.
- Assist with check-ins, check-outs, bookings, and guest coordination.
- Support occupancy management and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Maintain operational records and prepare regular reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational issues efficiently.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Graduate or undergraduate candidates with an interest in hospitality and hotel management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and computer operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.




- Willingness to work on-site at the assigned hotel property in Kolkata.
- Ability to work in a rotational shift schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Internship Details & Stipend

- Duration: 6 months under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme.
- Monthly Stipend: 9,000 per month.
- Additional Benefit: A one-time payment of 6,000, subject to the applicable scheme guidelines and disbursement terms.
- Work Location: Assigned hotel property in Kolkata.
- Work Schedule: 9 hours per day, 6 days a week, with 1 rotational weekly off.
- Work Mode: Completely in office.

Based on performance, business requirements, and available openings, candidates may be considered for a permanent position after the internship. However, permanent employment is not guaranteed.
