Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable manufacturers, subcontractors, material suppliers, and product designers.

Source production partners for quilts, quilted bedding, jackets, and wool products across home furnishings and apparel.

Obtain quotations, compare costs, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, production capacity, and delivery schedules.

Coordinate with designers to develop patterns, materials, specifications, and samples for approval.

Prepare production plans and follow up regularly to ensure orders are completed and delivered on time.

Monitor material usage, production costs, and wastage to keep orders within approved budgets.

Check quality during sampling, production, and final inspection, including fabric, stitching, quilting, sizing, finishing, and packaging.

Resolve production delays, quality issues, and supplier concerns promptly.

Maintain complete records of quotations, approvals, purchase orders, production progress, inspections, and deliveries.





Keep management, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors informed through regular updates and timely communication.

Candidate Requirements

Relevant experience in textile sourcing, merchandising, or production coordination, preferably involving quilts, quilted apparel, or wool products.

Practical knowledge of fabrics, wool, filling materials, quilting, garment construction, and textile finishing.

Ability to assess supplier capability, negotiate costs, and manage multiple orders and deadlines.

Robust communication, follow-up, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to use Excel and maintain accurate costing sheets and production reports.

Willingness to visit suppliers and production units as required.

A qualification in textiles, fashion, merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
