Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to handle hardware installations, workstation setup, IT asset audits, and on-site user support across multiple locations in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform pre- and post-installation hardware checks and testing.
- Set up desks, desktop PCs, monitors, and other IT peripherals.
- Install and test USB docking stations, monitors, and related hardware.
- Provide in office floor-walking support and assist users with hardware-related requirements.
- Support desk relocations, workstation moves, and decommissioning of old equipment.
- Coordinate IT equipment collection, reclamation, storage, and disposal.
- Conduct desk audits and maintain asset records, including serial numbers and inventory details.




- Follow instructions from the GTIS Project Manager and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Provide on-site support across various locations in Bangalore on weekdays.

Required Skills:

- 3+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Hardware Support, or IT Field Support.
- Hands-on experience with desktop PCs, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of hardware installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of IT asset management and inventory tracking.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work from the office and travel to different sites within Bangalore as required.
