Job Purpose

To establish, manage, and scale the Aviation Division’s operations through effective process development, system implementation, resource optimization, and continuous improvement, driving operational efficiency, service quality, and sustainable business growth.

Duties and responsibilities

- Primary:

- Lead the strategic development, establishment, and scaling of the Aviation Division’s operations, translating business objectives into actionable operational plans.
- Design, develop, and implement operational processes, workflows, SOPs, systems, and control mechanisms from the ground up.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective execution of established processes, adherence to SOPs, timely service delivery, and resolution of operational issues.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing operational teams, defining roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and performance expectations.
- Define operational KPIs, performance benchmarks, and monitoring mechanisms to measure productivity, turnaround time, service quality, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Evaluate existing processes, identify operational gaps and bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, workforce planning, and cost optimization initiatives to improve productivity and profitability.
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures, internal controls, and business continuity plans.




- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, HR, IT, Supply Chain, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution.
- Review operational performance and present business progress, risks, resource requirements, cost analyses, and strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior management.

2. Secondary:

- Prepare periodic operational reports and dashboards, highlighting performance gaps and recommending corrective actions.
- Evaluate operational technologies, automation opportunities, and digital tools to improve process efficiency and visibility.
- Maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, service providers, and business partners to support operational continuity.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate with HR to strengthen team capabilities.
- Support business expansion initiatives by assessing operational readiness, infrastructure, and resource requirements.
- Conduct periodic operational reviews to evaluate process effectiveness, customer feedback, and improvement opportunities.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualification: MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 12 years of overall experience, including 4–5 years in a senior operations management role, with proven experience in setting up and scaling operations from the ground up. Aviation industry experience is an added advantage.
