As we grow, we're looking for an operations leader who can build a reliable, effective, and well-organised backend for our business.

The RoleWe're looking for a hands-on Head of Operations & Fulfilment to take ownership of our end-to-end operations — including warehouse management, inventory control, order processing, packaging, dispatch, logistics, and team management.

You'll be responsible for ensuring that every order is processed accurately, every shipment goes out on time, inventory is accounted for, and the operations team runs smoothly.

We need someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently, builds systems, and ensures things get done without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Order Fulfilment

- Oversee the complete order lifecycle, from order placement on Shopify to packing, dispatch, and delivery.
- Manage daily order processing and fulfilment through Shiprocket.
- Ensure shipping labels, invoices, product selection, and packaging are accurate.
- Monitor dispatch timelines, delivery exceptions, failed deliveries, and return-to-origin (RTO) shipments.
- Coordinate with courier partners to resolve shipping and delivery issues.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Management

- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, stock organisation, and storage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records across SKUs, colours, powers, and product variants.
- Track inward stock, outward stock, returns, damaged goods, and inventory adjustments.




- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with Shopify and internal inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and flag low-stock or replenishment requirements well in advance.
- Establish processes to minimise inventory mismatches, product losses, and dispatch errors.

3. Packaging & Dispatch Team Management

- Manage the packaging and warehouse team, allocate daily responsibilities, and monitor productivity.
- Establish clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for picking, checking, packing, labelling, and dispatch.
- Ensure the correct product, colour, power, quantity, and packaging are included in every order.
- Maintain packaging quality, workplace cleanliness, and warehouse discipline.
- Train team members and ensure accountability for errors and missed deadlines.

4. Systems, Processes & Reporting

- Manage Shopify order operations, Shiprocket workflows, shipment tracking, and fulfilment records.
- Build simple, reliable systems to improve operational efficiency as the business scales.
- Maintain daily reports covering orders received, orders dispatched, pending orders, inventory discrepancies, returns, and delivery issues.
- Track key operational metrics such as order accuracy, dispatch turnaround time, shipping costs, and RTO rates.
- Identify bottlenecks, reduce avoidable costs, and continuously improve processes.

5. Ownership & Cross-functional Coordination

- Coordinate with customer support, marketing, procurement,



and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan warehouse capacity and packaging requirements around sales campaigns and product launches.
- Take ownership of operational issues and resolve them proactively.
- Keep management informed through clear, timely reporting rather than waiting for follow-ups.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in e-commerce, D2C, warehouse operations, logistics, or fulfilment.
- Previous experience managing a team, preferably including warehouse or packaging staff.
- Hands-on working knowledge of Shopify and Shiprocket.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock reconciliation, order processing, and courier operations.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of accountability.
- Someone who can create processes, manage people, and execute independently.

Experience with beauty, cosmetics, eyewear, healthcare products, or other SKU-intensive consumer brands would be an advantage. What Success Looks Like
- Orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
- Inventory records consistently match physical stock.
- The warehouse and packaging team operate efficiently with clear accountability.
- Shipping exceptions, packing errors, and avoidable RTOs are reduced.
- Daily operations run smoothly without constant founder intervention.
