Role Description The Head of Human Resources is a full-time, on-site role based in Maharashtra, India, responsible for leading the overall HR function and strategy for Akar Auto Industries Ltd. This role oversees workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning to ensure the organization is staffed, developed, and retained effectively. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, handling disciplinary and grievance procedures,



and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws and regulatory requirements.

The Head of HR will collaborate with senior leadership on organizational development, compensation and benefits, learning and development initiatives, and employee engagement programs. The role also involves establishing HR metrics, driving continuous improvement in HR processes, and fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and high performance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

- Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience leading HR functions in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Solid knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including Indian labor regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and updating HR Policies aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Demonstrated capability in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and employee engagement.
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
- Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and learning and development programs.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to use HR data and metrics for strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
