Job Summary A Reputed Meghalaya based Ferro Alloy Manufacturing Company is looking for General Manager- Admin & Commercial for its plant based in Byrnihat.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Site Operations: Manages housekeeping, canteen, guest house, etc
- Statutory & Local Liaison: Maintains factory licenses, environmental audits, and handles regular coordination with local authorities, police, and Pollution /Forest / DIC.Monitors in office contractor compliance, Material &Inventory; Control: Service & Contractor Billing, Cash Flow, MIS, Raw Material Purchase, handling the Plant administration office and staff
- Ensure smooth running of the plant operations, including management, manpower, handling vendors, etc.
- General administration including labour, stores & inventory, statutory and legal issues for industry, managing a team of expats and managing local government and community leaders to achieve smooth and optimal operating efficiencies.
- Should have prior experience of interacting with Government entities such as Fire Dept. Police Dept, Forest Dept, electricity dept, GST range, Pollution Department etc.
- Ensure the various record-keeping of Stores, Main Gate, Mess, Attendance, Stock Registers, or any other registers are up to date
- Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day to day operations in plant
- Increasing production,



asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Monitoring and controlling commercial aspect of the operations including raw material, consumables and finished goods stocks.
- Coordinate with respective Production and other Departments to understand breakdown issues and ensure timely resolution
- Timely audits and checks to prevent wastage, damage, and implement preventive maintenance through various departments

Job Specification/Requirements:

- Should have rich experience in Ferro Alloy/Steel/ Cement Industry as GM/AGM/Plant Manager.
- Prior experience of working in a manufacturing unit in Meghalaya is preferred
- Should be well-versed in production
- Strong knowledge of technical aspects of production, quality and maintenance
- Need to handle the team for execution of orders.

Experience Required: Minimum 7-10 years of experience as GM or AGM in any Ferro Alloy/Steel/Cement Industry

Salary: as per Experience (50k to 100k INR per month)

Other Benefits as per Company Policy such as EPF, ESI, Leaves, etc.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
