Deal Solutions – Ratings Advisory Role The Rating Advisory team is responsible for providing Investment Banking clients with advice and services relating to their credit profile, capital structure, financing optimization, and credit ratings. The team sits within the Global Financing Group and works in tandem with our Investment Banking, Merger & Acquisition, and Financing Group colleagues and plays an integral role in structuring integrated corporate finance and financing solutions. The Rating Advisory team leverages its extensive expertise in financial,



credit and rating analysis to provide astute, objective, transactional and advisory judgments to the firm and its clients

Job Responsibilities

- Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform capital structure analysis in the context of strategic corporate transactions such as M&A;, LBOs, IPOs, restructurings, etc
- Estimate potential rating impact of transactions
- Contributes to commercial efforts to identify and win current business opportunities
- Develop and audit financial models applied to credit and rating assessments
- Participate in inaugural ratings processes for clients
- Develop relationships with market participants including corporate CFOs, Treasurers, as well as capital markets professionals at financial sponsors
- Develop knowledge of rating agency methodologies, track evolutions of criteria
- Establish a network of contacts at the rating agencies

- Participate in client meetings

Required Qualifications

- MBA / master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or related field is preferable
- Strong interest in finance, capital markets, and investment banking
- Experience with modelling and financial statements analysis
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexibly as part of multiple teams and autonomously
- Ability to juggle changing priorities and a varied workload
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office products, tools and utilities for business use

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience assessing credit worthiness, financing options and potential credit rating in a previous job
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong team player with a good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and technologies is a plus
