We are looking for an experienced GCP Data & GenAI Engineer with robust expertise in Google BigQuery, Gemini, Vertex AI/Agent Platform, and AI Agent development.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing intelligent data solutions that leverage BigQuery and Gemini-powered AI agents to enable natural-language data analysis, automated insights, data discovery, and enterprise workflows.

The role requires a combination of GCP data engineering, Python, SQL, Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agent development experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.

- Build and optimize BigQuery datasets, tables, views, SQL queries, and data pipelines.

- Develop Gemini-powered AI agents that can interact with enterprise data and business applications.

- Build data agents capable of converting natural-language questions into SQL and analytical responses.

- Develop AI agents using Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and/or Agent Platform.

- Integrate Gemini models with BigQuery and other enterprise data sources.

- Develop agent tools/functions for querying and analyzing BigQuery data.

- Implement RAG, grounding, tool calling, function calling, and context management where required.

- Design multi-agent workflows and orchestration for complex business use cases.

- Integrate agents with APIs, databases, enterprise applications,



and external tools.

- Implement authentication, authorization, IAM, security, and data-access controls.

- Optimize BigQuery query performance and cost.

- Implement monitoring, logging, testing, evaluation, and observability for AI agents.

- Work with data scientists, data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into GenAI solutions.

- Develop production-ready Python applications and APIs supporting AI agents.

Google's current ADK supports agent development in Python, TypeScript, Go, and Java, including multi-agent architectures and integrations with external tools.
