Role Description The French Language Trainer role at My Language Guru is a remote position that can be part time or full-time, depending on availability and organizational needs. The trainer will design and deliver engaging online French lessons for learners at various proficiency levels, including general language courses and exam-oriented training for certifications such as TEF, TCF, DELF, and DALF. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson content, conducting interactive classes via digital platforms, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to different learning styles and goals.

The trainer will also contribute to curriculum refinement,



create learning materials, and maintain clear communication with learners and the MLG team to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Language Teaching and French Teaching, with the ability to instruct learners across beginner to advanced levels.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and curriculum development for online or classroom-based language courses.
- Background in Teaching and Education, preferably with exposure to adult learning or test preparation environments.
- Knowledge of French Literature and culture to enrich lessons with authentic and contextual content.
- Proficiency in French (minimum B2; C1/C2 preferred) with clear communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with TEF/TCF and DELF/DALF examination formats and strategies is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with digital tools and online teaching platforms, with reliable internet connectivity for remote work.
- Relevant degree or certification in French language, linguistics, education, or related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules responsibly, and support learners in achieving their language and career goals.
