Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Villa Maya in Trivandrum. This role oversees daily food and beverage operations, including supervising service teams, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, and maintaining exceptional guest experiences. The manager plans and coordinates service schedules, manages inventory and ordering, and monitors compliance with hygiene, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities also include training and mentoring staff, managing budgets and cost controls,



supporting menu planning in collaboration with culinary leadership, and addressing guest feedback in a professional and timely manner. The Food and Beverage Manager works closely with management to uphold Villa Maya’s reputation for premium hospitality and efficient service.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, with proven experience in a premium or fine-dining setting.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering personalized, attentive, and courteous guest experiences.
- Experience in Training and coaching front-of-house and service teams to meet quality and service standards.
- Ability to manage Budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting related to food and beverage operations.
- Relevant hospitality or hotel management education or certification is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in upscale dining.
