Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Fleet Operations Manager.

The Fleet Operations

Manager oversees daily fleet activities, including vehicle dispatch, scheduling, routing, and utilization to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective operations. The role involves monitoring fleet performance metrics, analyzing data to improve efficiency, and implementing best practices for maintenance, compliance, and resource allocation. The manager will supervise operational staff, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and resolve operational issues in real time.

Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting for fleet operations,



and contributing to process improvements and policy development.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Fleet Operations and Fleet Management skills to oversee vehicle usage, routing, maintenance coordination, and compliance.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to manage processes, optimize workflows, and align fleet activities with organizational goals.
- Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills to lead teams, delegate tasks, provide feedback, and ensure performance standards are met.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, track KPIs, identify trends, and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost control.
- Relevant qualifications may include experience in logistics, transportation, or operations roles; proficiency with fleet management or routing software; strong communication and stakeholder management skills; and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience managing fleets or large-scale operational programs.
