Role Description The Fixed Asset Manager role at Zypp Electric is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the professional will oversee the complete lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisition, capitalization, tracking, depreciation, and disposal, in alignment with company policies and accounting standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate fixed asset registers, reviewing asset classifications, preparing and posting related journal entries, and reconciling fixed asset sub-ledgers with the general ledger.

The role also involves supporting audits, implementing internal controls over asset management,



and collaborating with finance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.

The Fixed Asset

Manager will be expected to analyze asset utilization, provide insights for cost optimization, and contribute to process improvements as Zypp Electric scales its EV fleet and infrastructure.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Fixed Asset Management and handling Fixed Assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Solid foundation in Finance with practical experience preparing and reviewing Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret asset data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations related to fixed assets.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits and implementing internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in asset-intensive industries (logistics, mobility, manufacturing, or similar) is beneficial.
