Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Field Officer at Taxcart.

The Field

Officer will support clients and partners by ensuring accurate implementation of Taxcart’s solutions, guiding them through integration and onboarding, and clarifying tax-related requirements. Daily activities include coordinating with internal teams to resolve client issues, gathering feedback from the field to improve processes and product features, and maintaining explicit documentation of interactions and outcomes. The role also involves educating stakeholders on product capabilities, monitoring compliance-related matters in assigned regions, and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize customer experience and operational efficiency.





Qualifications

- Client and stakeholder management skills, including relationship building, coordination, and professional communication.
- Operational and organizational skills such as time management, task prioritization, and meticulous documentation.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret tax-related information and translate it into practical guidance.
- Technical aptitude to understand software integrations, ERP environments, and online checkout processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, using digital collaboration tools, and managing responsibilities independently.
- Knowledge of sales tax, VAT, GST, or broader taxation and compliance concepts is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in field operations, customer support, compliance, or fintech/saas environments is an advantage.
- Relevant post-secondary education in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
