About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Features Writer & Copy Editor who can create compelling editorial content, drive thought-provoking storytelling, and ensure the highest standards of content quality. The role combines content ideation, writing, copy editing, research, and production coordination to deliver engaging, accurate, and impactful editorial pages across industry segments.

What will You Do

Content Strategy & Editorial Development

- Conceptualize and develop relevant, insightful, and trend-driven story ideas across sectors including Business, Retail, Health, Defence, Government, MSME, PSU, and International affairs.
- Create compelling feature stories, thought leadership content, interviews, and special editorial projects.
- Develop content concepts and pitch ideas aligned with audience interests and business objectives.

Writing, Editing & Quality Assurance

- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial standards.
- Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to maintain credibility and content integrity.
- Ensure all editorial output is error-free and delivered within defined timelines.

Stakeholder & Production Management

- Collaborate closely with designers to create visually engaging and reader-friendly pages.




- Coordinate end-to-end production workflows to ensure smooth and timely page releases.
- Conduct interviews with industry leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to generate exclusive content.

Innovation & Digital Adoption

- Leverage AI-powered tools for research, content development, productivity enhancement, and editorial efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry developments, content trends, and emerging storytelling formats.

Must-Have Skills

- Exceptional writing, copy-editing, and proofreading capabilities.
- Strong command of grammar, language, style, and editorial best practices.
- Excellent research, analytical, and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to translate complex topics into engaging and reader-friendly content.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and editorial page-production processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in business, industry, policy, or feature journalism.
- Exposure to brand content, content strategy, and thought leadership development.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation and research tools.
- Experience conducting senior leadership and industry-expert interviews.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English Literature, Media Studies, or a related discipline.
