Job DescriptionGlanz Fabrics is looking for a fashion-oriented and organised skilled to manage our store floor, provide personalised fabric consultation to customers and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting fabrics based on colours, textures, garment requirements and current fashion trends.
- Oversee daily store operations, staff coordination, product displays and customer service.
- Monitor sales trends and identify fast-moving, slow-moving and high-demand fabrics.
- Track low-stock items and recommend repeat orders and replenishment based on sales and customer demand.
- Collect customer feedback and identify new product requirements and missed sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with the owner and inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Submit regular reports on product performance, stock requirements and customer preferences.
- Ensure adherence to store procedures and maintain high standards of service and presentation.
Requirements
- Experience in fashion retail, fabric retail, boutique management or a related field.
- Good understanding of fabrics, colours, textures and fashion trends.
- Strong customer-handling, communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
Preferred: Candidates with experience serving fashion designers, boutiques or garment businesses.
