We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Bidder / IT Business Development Executive who can independently identify suitable projects, prepare winning proposals, manage client conversations, and generate new business through online freelancing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Identification: Independently identify and analyze relevant projects on Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, Guru, and other legitimate freelancing platforms.
- Proposal Writing: Research project requirements and prepare personalized, persuasive proposals aligned with the client's needs and our company's capabilities.
- Client Communication: Independently handle client chats, respond to inquiries, ask relevant discovery questions, and maintain professional relationships.
- Lead Qualification: Evaluate project scope, client credibility, budget, competition, timelines, and business potential before bidding.
- IT Project Understanding: Understand software development requirements involving web applications, mobile apps, APIs, SaaS platforms, AI integrations, automation, and QA testing.
- Business Development: Generate qualified opportunities, arrange discovery calls, negotiate commercial terms, and help convert prospects into paying clients.
- Portfolio Management: Maintain relevant portfolio examples, company credentials, case studies, and project references for proposals.
- Technical Coordination: Work with the founder and technical team to validate requirements, estimates, timelines, feasibility, and project deliverables.




- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of bids, client conversations, follow-ups, interviews, opportunities, and outcomes.
- Performance Improvement: Monitor proposal performance, improve conversion rates, and develop effective bidding strategies for international markets.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1–3 years of practical experience in Upwork bidding, online bidding, IT sales, or business development for a software or technology company.
- Demonstrated experience identifying relevant projects and writing customized proposals that generate client responses.
- Robust written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to understand software development terminology, project requirements, deliverables, and technical discussions.
- Experience managing client conversations, qualifying leads, following up, and handling initial negotiations.
- Familiarity with technologies and services such as web development, mobile applications, APIs, SaaS, AI solutions, and software testing.
- Strong research, organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of the bidding pipeline, and meet agreed performance targets.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve research and proposal writing while ensuring all claims and company credentials remain accurate.

Who Should Apply?

Candidates who only copy job descriptions into AI tools, submit generic proposals, or depend entirely on others to identify projects and handle client conversations will not be suitable for this role.

Experience in a software development company or IT services business is strongly preferred.
