We are looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to evaluate and improve our newly developed ERP application.

Our goal is to build a complete and practical ERP solution for small and medium-sized businesses across multiple industries.

The candidate must understand real-world business operations and evaluate whether our ERP supports the actual requirements of companies. The role involves identifying missing features, improper workflows, functional limitations, and opportunities for improvement.

This is a remote, project-based opportunity suitable for an experienced ERP professional in Kerala who can work independently and collaborate with our development team online.

Key Responsibilities

- Review the existing ERP application and evaluate its modules, workflows, reports, and business logic.
- Identify missing functionalities, limitations, incorrect workflows, and operational gaps.
- Compare existing features against real-world business requirements and established ERP practices.
- Evaluate the ERP for retail, restaurant, travel agency, and manufacturing businesses, particularly bakeries.
- Review purchasing, sales, inventory, warehouse management, invoicing, payments, accounting, and reporting.
- Assess restaurant operations, including POS, recipes, ingredient stock, food costing, and wastage.
- Assess travel operations, including quotations, bookings, supplier payments, commissions, cancellations, and refunds.
- Assess manufacturing workflows, including raw materials, bills of materials, production, batch tracking, finished goods, and costing.
- Prepare realistic business scenarios and perform functional testing.
- Document missing features, workflow issues, and recommended solutions.
- Prepare a prioritized ERP gap analysis report and detailed functional requirements for the development team.
- Work with developers to clarify requirements and verify implemented improvements.

Required Skills and Experience




- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ERP functional consulting, implementation, business analysis, or ERP product evaluation.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ERP workflows.
- Practical experience with ERP products such as Odoo, ERPNext, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of inventory, purchasing, sales, finance, accounting, and operational reporting.
- Ability to identify gaps between software functionality and real business needs.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, process flows, gap analysis reports, and test cases.
- Robust analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently from home and coordinate with a remote development team.

Preferred Experience
- ERP implementation for small and medium-sized businesses.
- Experience in retail, wholesale distribution, restaurants, travel agencies, or manufacturing.
- Bakery or food production experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of multi-branch operations, multiple warehouses, user permissions, and approval workflows.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT and business practices is an added advantage.
