Roles at this level are entry-level engineers focused on the execution of the engineering projects assigned to them under guidance.
Key Responsibility:
Project Execution
- Execute tasks within set parameters and close guidance of the lead / area leads
- Prepare quality deliverable within budget, schedule and take full responsibility for the own task.
- Resolve interface issues with other disciplines
Preferred Skillset/Software:
- Prepare pipe class and piping specification and calculations
- SRD and material coding
- Specification for piping speciality items
- Suppliers offer evaluation, bid tabulation, drawing review
- Inspection and material clearance
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 3 to 5 years experience in piping material engineering
Key Knowledge Area:
ASTM for piping components, ASME B 31.3 code for piping, ASME PCC-1, piping calculations for pipe thickness and components, Smart Reference Data (SRD)
