Graduate Engineer Trainee: Embedded Vision / Edge AI

Type: Full-time | Experience: 0-1 year (freshers welcome)

About the Role

You will join a small team building an edge-AI camera platform. You will work with NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi boards, cameras and AI accelerators, learning on the job under the guidance of senior engineers. This is a hands-on role: setting up boards, running and testing vision models, and supporting hardware bring-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and configure Jetson and Raspberry Pi boards (OS flashing, networking, peripherals).
- Connect and test camera modules, and capture and organize image datasets.
- Label images and help train and evaluate YOLO object detection models.
- Run model inference on Jetson and Raspberry Pi + Hailo-8L, and record accuracy and FPS results.
- Assist with model export (ONNX) and deployment using the provided toolchains.
- Support testing: log results, report issues and maintain test documentation.
- Assist the hardware team with schematic review, component lists and board bring-up.

Required Skills





- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science or a related field.
- Programming in Python (C/C++ is a plus).
- Basics of Linux (terminal, file system, SSH).
- Understanding of core ML and computer vision concepts, such as classification and object detection.
- Willingness to learn quickly and debug hardware and software problems patiently.

Preferred Skills

- Academic or personal projects with Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, Arduino or similar boards.
- Familiarity with OpenCV, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Exposure to a YOLO model, even a college project.
- Basic knowledge of electronics, schematics and a PCB tool (KiCad, Altium or Eagle).
- Basic Git usage.
