Electrical Site Engineer – Solar Project Execution

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our project team in Andhra Pradesh. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing electrical works for utility-scale solar power projects, ensuring that installation and commissioning activities are completed as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solar project execution, a valuable understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively with site teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise electrical construction and installation activities for utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Oversee the installation of PV modules, inverters, HT/LT systems, transformers, RMUs, switchgear, and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, vendors, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support electrical testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Monitor daily site progress, manpower,



and material requirements, and maintain relevant project documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues at the site in coordination with the concerned teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety requirements, HSE guidelines, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solar project construction
- Hands-on experience in utility-scale, ground-mounted solar power projects is mandatory.
- Must have prior experience working on utility-scale, ground-mounted solar projects of 20 MW or above.
- Good understanding of HT/LT systems, transformers, RMUs, switchgear, inverters, electrical drawings, and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Experience in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and site coordination.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work full-time at project sites across Andhra Pradesh.
