The role spans ideas, events, magazine, digital and social, bringing together influential voices across art, design, fashion, food, hospitality, business and culture. The ideal candidate combines sharp editorial judgement, creative thinking and exceptional networking skills with the ability to turn ideas into compelling stories, events and partnerships, while helping shape 1838’s growing cultural platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the Creative Head to develop ideas, formats and creative strategies.
- Shape signature IPs, editorial concepts and the annual programming calendar.
- Contribute to talks, salons,



screenings, exhibitions, dinners and launches.
- Identify, engage and brief speakers, artists, moderators and creative collaborators.
- Build and maintain relationships across cultural, creative and luxury industries.
- Develop opportunities for exclusive interviews, contributors, partnerships and stories.
- Track cultural trends and prepare research briefs and strategic insights.
- Shape digital and social content to amplify events and engage audiences.
- Pitch, write and edit magazine stories, connecting editorial with live programming.
- Represent 1838 at industry events and support special projects as the platform grows.
