Role- Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant - Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) & Discrete Manufacturing

Required Technical Skill Set

Oracle EBS R12 Techno Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) and Discrete Manufacturing. Hands-on experience in manufacturing business processes, functional configuration, production support, enhancements, testing, and integrations across Oracle EBS Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

- Strong OPM knowledge covering Formula, Recipe, Routing, Resources, Batch Execution, Material Transactions, Quality, Inventory and OPM Costing.
- Strong Discrete Manufacturing experience covering BOM, Routing, WIP, Work Orders, Resources, Inventory, Quality and Cost Management.
- Hands-on knowledge of Outside Processing (OSP), including outsourced manufacturing/operations, purchasing integration, PO/requisition flows, material movement, receiving and costing.
- Strong experience with batch manufacturing processes, including batch creation/release, ingredient consumption, product/by-product completion, batch close, exceptions and reconciliation.
- Experience integrating Oracle EBS Manufacturing with third-party manufacturing, warehouse, MES/shop-floor and external business systems.
- Experience with Planning system integrations, including transfer of item, BOM/formula, inventory, supply/demand, work order/batch and planning data between Oracle EBS and external planning platforms.
- Understanding of PLC/shop-floor integrations, including exchange of production orders/batches, material consumption, production completion, equipment/process data and transaction acknowledgements.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing integrations with Inventory, Purchasing,



Order Management, Planning, WMS and Financial/Costing processes.
- Experience defining functional requirements for inbound/outbound interfaces, APIs, conversions, reports, workflows and extensions.
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS customizations, including functional design, impact assessment, testing and validation of custom manufacturing solutions.
- Robust experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, functional design/specifications, SIT, UAT, cutover and production support.
- Ability to troubleshoot batch, WIP, inventory, costing, interface and integration failures, perform RCA and coordinate resolution with technical/integration teams.
- Strong business communication and ability to work with manufacturing, supply chain, planning, engineering, finance and technical stakeholders.

Good-to-Have

- Experience in Food & Beverage, CPG or high-volume process/discrete manufacturing environments.
- Experience integrating Oracle EBS with MES, PLC/SCADA, WES/WMS, 3PL and shop-floor automation systems.
- Knowledge of external planning solutions and Oracle ASCP/VCP integration with manufacturing.
- Experience with EDI, middleware/iPaaS, APIs, file-based integrations and Oracle Open Interfaces.
- Functional understanding of SQL, Oracle EBS manufacturing tables and interface tables for troubleshooting and reconciliation.
- Experience with lot/serial control, shelf-life, genealogy, traceability and quality management.
- Knowledge of manufacturing accounting and costing, including material, resource, overhead, OSP and variance accounting.
- Experience in customization rationalization, process automation and legacy-to-standard EBS process transformation.
- Experience with EBS upgrades, patches, regression testing, data migration and manufacturing modernization.
- Exposure to Agile, Jira, ServiceNow, automation and GenAI/GitHub Copilot-assisted delivery.
