Role Description The Donor Relations Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur, responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and institutional funders. The role involves planning and executing donor engagement activities, overseeing annual giving campaigns, and ensuring timely communication and stewardship, including impact reports, acknowledgments, and events.

The Donor Relations

Manager will coordinate with program teams to gather data and success stories, convert them into compelling donor-facing communication, and support fundraising proposals and presentations.



The position also includes maintaining accurate donor records, monitoring donor commitments, and using project management practices to track progress on donor-related initiatives and campaigns. Collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify funding opportunities and enhance overall donor experience is a key component of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong donor-focused skills, including Donor Relations and Donor Management.
- Experience in Philanthropy and Annual Giving, with a track record of supporting fundraising goals.
- Proficiency in Project Management to plan, execute, and monitor donor engagement initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear reports and donor communication.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business, Communications, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in the nonprofit or social development sector, especially in fundraising or donor management, is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with CRM or donor databases.
