Motivated by the lack of healthy beverage options in the Indian market, they set out to introduce zero-sugar kombucha at an accessible price point. Toyo Kombucha focuses on offering kombucha in its purest form, aiming to make it easy for people to incorporate into their daily routines.

Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area, responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational activities at Toyo Kombucha. This role includes managing production workflows, supply chain processes, inventory control, and quality assurance to ensure consistent product standards and timely delivery. The Director of Operations will lead and develop cross-functional teams, implement operational best practices, and optimize resource allocation and budgets.

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve monitoring performance metrics, improving customer service operations, collaborating with leadership on strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and sustainability guidelines.



The role requires close coordination with sales, marketing, and finance to support growth, improve efficiency, and maintain a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong Operations Management experience, including production planning, supply chain coordination, and process optimization.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, track KPIs, and drive evidence-based decisions.
- Proven Team Management capabilities, with experience in coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated Budgeting and cost-control skills, with the ability to manage resources and improve operational efficiency.
- Commitment to high-quality Customer Service, with experience in building systems that support responsive and reliable customer interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
- Experience in FMCG, food and beverage, or manufacturing environments, ideally within a high-growth or startup setting.
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and regulatory standards relevant to food and beverage production.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in office in the Greater Delhi Area and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
