About The Role As a DataOps Lead , you will design and manage highly scalable, fault‑tolerant data pipelines that support massive data ingestion, modelling, and analytics. You'll collaborate with VP- and Director‑level stakeholders across top enterprises to understand strategic business needs and translate them into robust technical solutions.

You’ll drive DevOps automation , oversee TB‑scale workloads , ensure high availability, guide engineering best practices, mentor teams, and play an active role in hiring and developing top technical talent . This is a high‑impact, hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, distributed Big Data components.
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to understand requirements and influence technical strategy.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and DevOps processes.
- Lead root cause analysis and support massive TB‑scale production pipelines.




- Guide developers and DevOps engineers in design, automation, and support tasks.
- Drive internal technical excellence—mentoring, hiring, and conducting technical training.

Must‑Have Skills

- 8–12 years of relevant experience in data engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
- Expertise in building scalable, fault‑tolerant Big Data systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python/Java or a scripting language.
- Experience with Linux systems, Jenkins, and build/release processes.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments.
- Strong background in CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and DevOps best practices.
- Ability to interface with senior stakeholders and convert business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and ability to work in fast‑paced startup environments.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

- Experience in Big Data support environments.
- Hands‑on exposure to the Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Oozie, Impala, MapReduce, Kerberos.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and configuration management tools.
- Experience architecting and maintaining end‑to‑end Big Data solutions.
