Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and creative Design Manager to lead and manage end-to-end design activities for projects in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing conceptualization, design development, stakeholder coordination, consultant management, and ensuring designs meet business objectives, quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design process from concept development through detailed design and execution.
- Manage and coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors, and project teams.
- Review design drawings, layouts, specifications, and material selections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure designs align with brand standards, functionality, operational requirements, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Projects, Procurement, Operations, and Business teams.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
- Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency.
- Track design changes, approvals, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, statutory requirements, and safety regulations.
- Drive innovation, sustainability, and industry best practices within design solutions.
- Manage external consultants and evaluate their performance.
- Present design concepts and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design,



Design Management, or related field.
- Master's Degree (preferred).
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in design management, architecture, interior fit-outs, retail, commercial, or real estate projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid knowledge of design standards, construction methodologies, and project management principles.
