Role Description The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and optimizing designs for solar mounting structures, transmission line towers, and related mechanical components. Day-to-day activities include creating and updating detailed CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, and ensuring designs comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications. The role involves close coordination with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to support prototyping, production feasibility, cost optimization,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Design

Engineer will also assist in documentation, design reports, and integration of feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to refine products. This is a full time, on-site role based in Nagpur.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills, with experience in developing structural or mechanical components for industrial or renewable energy applications.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering and, ideally, Electrical Engineering knowledge to support multidisciplinary design and system integration.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for 2D drafting and 3D modeling in Fasteners.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis relevant to steel structures and hardware.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an on-site manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the renewable energy, transmission lines, or heavy engineering sectors, and familiarity with international standards and codes, is highly beneficial.
