Role Description The Design and Development Engineer role at LISEGA INDIA PRIVATE LTD. is a full-time, on-site position based in Halol. The role involves designing mechanical and pipe support components, developing product concepts, and preparing detailed engineering drawings and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting design calculations, supporting R&D; activities, and participating in product testing and validation.

The engineer will be expected to optimize existing designs, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Regular interaction with global engineering teams and production units will be required to support implementation and resolve technical queries.

Qualifications

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience:



1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical/product design, pipe support design, piping components, or a related industry
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering with applied experience in Machine Design.
- Demonstrated ability in Product Design and development of mechanical components or systems.
- Experience in Testing, validation, and performance evaluation of engineered products.
- Exposure to Research and Development (R&D;) activities, including concept development and prototyping.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creao, or similar) along with basic working knowledge of ANSYS and engineering calculations.
- Understanding of relevant industrial standards, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, international teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience in industrial pipe supports, heavy engineering, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of mechanical design principles with the knowledge of engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, fabrication/manufacturing processes, and applicable industry standards such as ASME, MSS, and ASTM
- Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for pipe support product design, 2D/3D modeling, preparation of fabrication and BOM, basic structural analysis, design documentation, and coordination with project and production teams.
