Role Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Scientist – Generative AI with strong hands-on experience in Python, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Azure OpenAI, LangChain, RAG, and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating AI-powered solutions that leverage enterprise data, documents, APIs, and business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Generative AI and LLM-based applications using Python and Azure OpenAI.




- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using enterprise documents and knowledge sources.
- Build AI Agents and Agentic AI workflows using LangChain or similar frameworks.
- Implement prompt engineering, tool/function calling, embeddings, semantic search, and vector-based retrieval.
- Integrate LLM-powered applications with enterprise APIs, business systems, and workflows.
- Develop scalable REST APIs and backend services using FastAPI and/or Flask.
- Work with Azure AI services, including Azure AI Document Intelligence, for document processing and information extraction.
- Evaluate and continuously improve the accuracy, relevance, reliability, and performance of LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Follow software engineering best practices, including Git, code quality, testing, documentation, and deployment practices.

Technical Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4–7 years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML, Software Development, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
- Strong practical experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
- Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI.
- Experience with LangChain and AI Agent development.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with RAG architectures and pipelines.
- Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI and/or Flask.
- Good understanding of embeddings, vector databases/vector search, semantic search,



prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and LLM orchestration.
- Experience with Git and standard software development practices.

Nice-to-have skills

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence and other Azure AI services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as Jira and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation, observability, and AI application monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Machine Learning and NLP concepts.
- Experience with Docker, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying and supporting production-grade AI applications.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can independently contribute to the end-to-end development of Generative AI solutions — from data and document ingestion through RAG, LLM orchestration, and Agentic AI workflows to API integration and deployment. You should have strong programming and problem-solving skills, be comfortable working with emerging AI technologies, and be able to translate business requirements into practical, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions.
